....Because we have two eyes, we see rounded shapes without hard edges. The camera, with its single lens, sees hard, sharp edges on its subject matter...I am very interested in what the eye of the machine beholds.

What I love about photography is that it forces me to see. I’m like a hunter of light. I seen beams across the road and track it to an open field. I notice these odd chairs, sitting outside a warehouse. Even a fence post becomes photographic near sunrise. I love looking. 👁 Question for my fellow analogue shooters: I noticed I have shadows near the sprocket holes on this contact sheet. I “pushed” my 400 speed film to 1600 and it had a long development time.
